    (Scroll down to see all the photos - click on each photo to see a closeup view) This is an original July, 1954 Telephone Directory for Clinton County, Illinois which included listings for Aviston, Beckemeyer , Breese , Carlyle , Germantown and Trenton, Illinois and was published by the Illinois Bell Telephone Company. The book measures 6-1/8" x 9-1/4" and has 50 pages. The pages have residential listings on the top half and bottom half has classified and display ads for local businesses. Aviston has one page of listings, Beckemeyer has about two pages of listings, Breese has eleven half pages of listings, Carlyle has 16 half pages of listings, Germantown has three half pages of listings and Trenton has eight half pages of listings. The booklet is in very good condition - the pages are yellowed with age - the covers have some light toning - the corners have small bumps. A NICE PIECE OF CLINTON COUNTY HISTORY AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT GIFT FOR SOMEONE WHO LIVED THERE DURING THAT TIME! Priority postage is .00.
