Up for sale today is an Original Vintage 1959 Marshall, Missouri & Saline County R. L. Polk City Directory. This hard-cover directory is 73 pages, and measures approx. 6 1/2" x 9 1/2". It is a typical directory listing out all the people and businesses in the Marshall area at the time, and also has some great period ads and some information and pictures of the town in the front. A great resource for historic and genealogical research! The book is in good condition, complete, intact, and very readable. It shows typical use/storage wear, including typical cover and spine wear. The inside pages have some pencil, ink and marker writing here or there, and may have some age discoloration and a light musty smell from years of storage.
